Inspiration |Modern Citrus Shoot - Day Look

Reaching negative temperatures last week made me realize how much I miss Summer!! I also thought now would be the best time to share our Citrus styled inspiration shoot to brighten up your week. Last year my team and I sought out to do an inspiration shoot that did just that - INSPIRE. We wanted to push the envelope just a little by combining vibrant colors in a contemporary way at a breathtaking venue. With the help of many of the Twin Cities’ talented wedding professionals and a beautiful couple, Mission Accomplished. We decided to create a Day Look and Evening Look.  As a bride it's important to know that you can create a distinct look for your wedding day whether you are considering an indoor event or outdoor celebration.  

Today I share with you the stunning Day Look captured by Cadence & Eli Photography. The design elements of the day included citrus-infused centerpieces, milk glass pieces and white chiavari chairs. We were thrilled at the opportunity to feature the Minneapolis Institute of Arts in our styled shoot! The MIA's Target Park was the perfect setting for our Day Look.

Our bride, Maconnie Dukuly, was gorgeous in Vera Wang’s Eloise from L'atelier Couture Bridal, paired with NELLE’s Delphine for a modern romance look.

 

Nardo Wardrobe Consultants styled our groom, Bryce Lin, perfectly combining color and stripes from Elsworth Menswear and William Park

Gretchen Berry Design’s invitation suite and paper goods flowed seamlessly throughout the shoot, from the menus, personalized place settings, to the table numbers.

Crystal Kluge’s whimsically modern calligraphy could not be missed amongst the paper goods and dessert bar.

 Sadie’s Couture Floral & Event Styling’s designs spoke beautifully through the breathtaking blooms.

The effortlessly designed cake and decadent spread of sweets by Cocoa & Fig included Pistachio Macaroons, Carrot Cake Cupcakes, Key Lime Shooters, Rice Krispy Treats, Vanilla Cake Lollipops, and New York Cheesecake.
