Inspiration Tools |Pantone's Spring 2013 Color Report

Happy Monday! Pantone has revealed its top 10 fashion colors for Spring 2013, and I'd have to say I'm loving what I see!
Monaco Blue is Pantone's top color pick for the Spring 2013 season. This deep navy is considered the "preppy staple" that looks good on everyone. The Institute's Executive Director, Leatrice Eiseman describes Monaco Blue as a "wonderful, calming and anchoring color" to the rest of collection. You will also notice it's all about the blues and greens next year. Colors like Dusk Blue, Emerald and Grayed Jade offer stability and depth to the entire palette.

This "shot of sparkle" is accompanied by Linen, Grayed Jade, Poppy Red, African Violet, Dusk Blue, Tender Shoots, Lemon Zest, Emerald and Nectarine. Many of these shades have been seen on the NYC runways. Can't wait until December to found out The Color of the Year!

Town and Country Club Wedding | Mariko + Dan

Meet Mariko + Dan, their love knows no bounds (or borders). With Mariko in New Haven and Dan in Fargo, their top priority was to plan a wedding weekend that focused on their loved ones. No matter what, their guests came first. These two were married on Dan’s parents’ anniversary at St. Kate’s Our Lady of Victory Chapel, the same chapel Mariko’s parents were married, how sweet is that?!
Photos are important to Mariko and Dan because it was a photo that brought them together. So it was a no-brainer that they gravitated to Cadence + Eli of Cadence Cornelius Photographs. Their day was touching, filled with blush pink and Shakespeare at the Town and Country Club. They carried their love for Shakespeare throughout the wedding planning, from the letterpressed invitation to the table numbers. Mariko and Dan’s rings are even tied to their favorite Shakespeare plays. These two are kind-hearted and such a blessing to those around them and to each other. We were honored to be apart of their day. O spirit of love! How quick and fresh art thou….
*Be sure to take a look at Mariko + Dan's story featured on Middle of the Map Weddings
